Best Escape Rooms in Glasgow

Looking for a fun family activity to do over the school holidays?

Have a go at an Escape Room experience? You're locked in a room and have a time limit to follow the clues, solve the puzzles and find the key to escape. Pre-teens and teenagers will love solving these!

Although some of the below escape games sound similar, they each offer different themes, so it's worth looking around to find one that you'll all enjoy.

1. Escape Rooms Glasgow

Have you got what it takes to get out? Each game here is designed to challenge your inner detective.

Jail Room is a great introduction to escape games, with an easy difficulty rating.

Zombie Room is a little more challenging due to the live zombie on the loose, and the Bank Heist Room is for larger groups of up to 10 players.

Their Riddler room is the newest and ‘fun’ room, which sounds perfect if you have younger kids.

2. Escape Glasgow

This is a new, fun, challenging live escape game in Glasgow City Centre.

Designed for groups of 2 - 5, they lock you up in a mysterious room, and give you exactly 60 minutes to get out.

Witchcraft and Wizardry: Head to head or wand to wand?

221B Baker Street: A Sherlock themed escape room.

Emcu Trials: The Escape Mysterious Crimes Unit are recruiting and they need you.

Glasgow Classic: This room contains hidden containers, locked boxes, codes and a massive variety of puzzles.

Contagion: As a scientist, you have contracted a virus and the quarantine timer is set to 60 minutes, after which the room and all traces of your work will be incinerated.

3. Tick Tock Unlock

You only have one goal: escape from the room in 60 minutes by solving a series of puzzles, unravelling clues, and working together as a team to reveal the darkest secrets that have never been shared.

The Hatch: A once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Island turns into a prison.

Blueprint: It's a race against time to uncover the truth about a missing history professor who has mysteriously vanished.

4. Escape Reality

Jungala: Complete this Jumanji style game or be trapped inside the other realm for eternity.

Enigmista: Your captor has devised a series of games to test how much strength you have in order to your own lives.

Misery: You have 60 minutes to escape the captor's house before you discover how far she will go to keep you there.

Murder In Whitechapel: The Scotland Yard detective division has hired you as a detective to catch a serial murderer.

Alcatraz: This is your prime opportunity to make your escape attempt from Alcatraz prison.
