Remember, remember the 5th of November…

With a crackling fire, spectacular fireworks, dressing up cosy and munching on parkin cake, Bonfire Night is my absolute favourite event of the whole year.

There are so many family-friendly events around Glasgow to get involved in – take a look!


Events are in date order:

Enjoy an evening at Milingavie Dobbies Garden Centre with street food followed by a fireworks display.

When: Friday 2nd November, 2018

Where: Dobbies Garden Centre, Boclair Rd, Bearsden, Glasgow, Milngavie G62 6EP

This display will see more than 700 fireworks sent skyward. Comets, mines, spinners, hummers, whistles, strobes and dragon’s eggs will light up the night sky in a stunning array of colours.

There will also be family entertainment before and after the event including a children’s funfair. A range of hot food will be available.

When: Monday 5th November, 7 - 9pm

Where: Levengrove Park, Dumbarton, G82 4AF

In addition to the fireworks and bonfire, there will be hot food (including yummy doughnuts!) and drink stalls (tea, coffee, hot chocolate).

When: Saturday 4th November 2017, 6.30 - 8.30pm

Where:Pier Carpark, G84 8 Helensburgh

Price: Donation.

Join thousands of spectators as Dalmuir park for a dazzling firework display, food from various stalls and family activities throughout the park.

When: Sunday 5th November 2017, 7- 9pm

Where: Dalmuir Park, Overtoun Road, Clydebank, G81 3QY

Price: FREE

Glasgow's biggest and best free fireworks display returns to Glasgow Green with food and drink stalls and a funfair, before the big explosive finale!
