The number of children with short-sightedness (myopia) is on the rise, likely due to changes in lifestyle, with many children now spending less time outdoors.
Vision Science researchers at Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) are looking at ways of slowing down the worsening of short-sightedness in school-aged children using new, ground-breaking glasses and natural daylight lamps. The researchers are looking to recruit healthy children aged between 6 and 12 to take part in two exciting research studies taking place at the GCU Vision Centre.
