Walking is easy, fun and free!
All across Glasgow, people just like you are enjoying getting out, making new friends and having fun on [Link http://www.glasgowlife.org.uk/communities/goodmove/walking/pages/default.aspx Good Move Walks].
This is the perfect opportunity to go along and enjoy the fresh air, meet new people and take in the sights of Glasgow's parks and gardens.
With over 50 walks taking place each week, there's bound to be one near you.
Lasting around an hour, these walks are easy, sociable and most of all, good fun! The walk leaders are on hand to encourage you to go at a pace you’re comfortable with and make sure you get the most out of your walk.
"People who join the groups, in general, after a week or so, you notice a lot more confidence, a bit more outgoing, so I really think, as well as the physical benefits, I think it's really got quite a psychological/emotional benefit as well, so I think it's great." Lilian Stars, Walk Leader
Health Walk Leaders
