Extra curriculum activities for children:

Hobbies are a fantastic way for kids to express creativity, increase confidence and make new friends.

We're putting together a list below of extra curriculum activities for children, from drama and crafts, to treasure trails and fun science classes.

Can you recommend anything else in Glasgow? We'd love to hear your suggestions for swimming, dancing, music lessons, sport etc. Let us know and we'll add it in!

1. Kids Art and Craft Classes

Getting your kids involved in arts, crafts and creative play is a vital learning tool when it comes to colours, shapes and textures.

Let your little ones get messy and use their imagination at one of these great arts and craft classes around Glasgow.

2. Drama Cubs

Located in Newton Mearns, Drama Cubs provides drama classes for children age 5 - 9.

At Drama Cubs, children will have the opportunity to learn about the world around them though play and a variety of drama techniques.

3. Mini Professors Science Classes

Mini Professors are passionate about teaching science, with the aim to inspire the next generation.

Their science classes provide a warm and welcoming environment in which young children can not only explore and marvel at science, but they can also learn many life skills, such as asking and answering questions, turn taking, sharing and socialising.

Treasure Trails are the perfect way to explore different areas across Glasgow. An easy to follow route will enable you to crack the clues whilst taking in some of the most fascinating sights along the way.
