A 5 minute walk from the Clyde shopping centre.

Being a Scottish Mumma means you can often come up against the elements when trying to entertain your energetic toddler.

Sure, there are parks aplenty and on a good day, these are my go-to free activities for letting off steam. However, when the rain hits, you need somewhere big, colourful and soft. Enter [Link https://www.i-playcentres.co.uk/ iPlay Centre Clydebank].

Based in Clydebank business park (within easy access from both Singer and Clydebank train stations), iPlay Centre is the soft play centre of dreams for babies and kids up to 12 years old.

Standard entry is from £2.50 (depends on age), which also includes a free "Jo Jangles" class for little ones on Thursday's. This class is certainly not to be missed! It's chaotic to say the least, but it's full of energy and fun, and very interactive with every child getting a soft toy and instrument to play. There's even lots of singing and dancing as standard.

The soft play itself is set up fantastically offering definitive sections for littles and bigs. For older children, there is an activity centre for more adventurous play: tunnels, slides and even a goal shoot out overlooking the iPlay Centre itself. For little ones, there is a separate, slightly smaller activity centre with a ball pit, soft build blocks and mini slides.

The area is safe and clean with plenty of staff available on hand to help if required. The toilets and baby changing facilities are also very clean and welcoming, even providing a peaceful space for breastfeeding mothers.

There are also plenty of refreshments for both parents and children (you can even pay an extra £2.50 on entry and lunch is included), but you are also welcome to bring your own packed lunch – something I've found is frowned upon in other soft play centres.

When you leave, you can purchase a balloon for your little one – that's if they're not fast asleep as my son was when we left!

All in all, it's a great day out that is brilliant value for money considering you can stay for as long as you like – a real treat for energetic children and tired parents who can enjoy an (almost!) peaceful coffee.

Where: Unit 2 Bleasdale Court, Clydebank, Business Park, Clydebank, G81 2LE
