Getting your kids involved in arts, crafts and creative play is a vital learning tool when it comes to colours, shapes and textures.

Let your little ones get messy and use their imagination at one of these great arts and craft classes around Glasgow.


1. Kids Art Academy Glasgow

These arts and crafts classes for 5-12 year olds cover a whole variety of themes, topics & projects using different materials such as oil pastels, crayons, watercolors, acrylic paint, clay, markers and printmaking. Kids can also create seasonal artwork at Christmas, Easter and Halloween.

2. Kids Pop-Up Art Club at Offshore Cafe

Kill two birds with one stone and enjoy a coffee while your kids are kept busy getting creative with print making, puppet making and more!

3. The Tallship at Riverside

This summer, pirates are taking over The Tall Ship for a range of pirate themed activities, including make your own treasure map, parrot and treasure chest!

4. The Craft Pottery

If your child wants to take their craft skills to the next level, The Craft Pottery offer a private kids taster pottery lesson where they'll learn to throw basic cylinder forms and create their own pots.

When: Class is 1 hour 30 minutes. Get in touch to organise a date and time.

5. Messy Nessies

As soon as you enter the door to Messy Nessies, the atmosphere of fun and playfulness hits you, leaving you singing along to Disney songs and rolling up your sleeves in no time.

The sessions are as you'd imagine, always messy and offer a way of play, which most people just can't carry out in their own homes (unless you want to spend hours getting jelly and shaving foam out of the DVD player!). Pamela's ideas for sensory play are so clever that each week you are bound to be surprised.
