Get ready to step back in time on Saturday, 12 October, when our Medieval family day rolls around from 11 am to 4 pm. It's like a history lesson, but with less lecturing and more fun. Stroll through our galleries and discover all sorts of medieval treasures, or as we like to call them, shiny bits from the past. You'll have the chance to unleash your inner craftsman with some hands-on activities, enjoy a few performances, and join guided tours that promise to be far more interesting than any boring textbook.

Best of all, everything is free, and we'll provide the materials so you don't have to raid your house for supplies. Bring the whole family along and prepare for a day packed with medieval mischief. Who knows, you might even walk out with a newfound appreciation for long-lost craftsmanship or at least a very cool picture of you pretending to be a knight.
