As one of Glasgow’s leading attractions, the Scottish Football Museum is a wonderful day out for fans of the great game.

If you've got any football fanatics in the family, big or small, this museum has something for all ages.

Based within Hampden Park, you can sit in what was the original dressing room from the old Hampden and listen to Craig Brown addressing his Scotland team; enter through one of the old turnstiles and watch Archie Gemmill score one of the top ten World Cup goals of all time against Holland; and marvel at the original Scottish Cup, the world’s oldest national trophy.

You can also visit the Scottish Football Hall of Fame, which features the greatest players this country has ever produced, and take a look at an impressive collection of football related objects and memorabilia.

To top it all off, experience Hampden Park as the players do on a match day – visit the underground roadway, team changing rooms, and strike a ball in the Hampden Hotshots gallery. Walk down the tunnel, hear the famous “Hampden Roar” and then follow the footsteps of legends by climbing the stairs to the cup presentation area.

Phew! How great does that sound?
