A new way of eating that will delight visitors, big and small.

If you're yet to hear of [Link http://dockyardsocial.com The Dockyard Social], where have you been hiding?!

This impossibly cool, street food eatery-cum-market bar is fast becoming the hippest venue in Glasgow's west end. Rivalling other pop-ups of its kind, offers something above and beyond with its fusion of street food and craft beverages, while at the same time, providing a great atmosphere for families and children.

Far from being a place "too cool for kids", this hipster hub has an all-welcome policy (even opening its doors to our furry, four-legged friends) that only adds to its welcoming spirit and laid-back vibe.

describes itself as "a street food market with the community at its heart" and that's exactly what it is. With a focus on training and development, this space is so much more than just a social venue. The Dockyard Social's mission is to support the people in the community that need it most; for example, granting homeless people or those who are unemployed, access to career training in partnership with local charities, as well as working alongside businesses who may be struggling to find their feet. In essence, they are fast becoming the hub for the local foodie community that is ever growing in the Finnieston area.

And what about the food itself?

Consisting of 12 vendors, each producing ethically sourced, high-quality fast food, there is sure to be something to suit every taste bud. From wonderful wood-fired pizza to fresh fusion noodles, the number of options will leave you spoilt for choice so arrive hungry and leave more than satisfied.

Be it sweet or savoury you're after, you will not be disappointed. Tempting boozy brownies and bubble waffle ice cream cones are amongst some of their delicious puds and let's not forget about drinks - if craft beer is your passion, you'll feel very at home amongst one of the four bars. This hidden gem will leave your tummy rumbling at the mere thought of your next visit before you've even left.

doesn't officially open until December 2018, but you can find tickets on their website for various events that are upcoming over the weeks leading up until Christmas.

So if you're looking for a way to fill a rainy Sunday with the family or a romantic Friday evening with a partner, or even if you're just looking for some great food, fab service and cool vibes, definitely check out The Dockyard Social.

For a place with a social conscience as big as its menu, heart and soul at the root of its ethos and fun and the forefront of its schedule, this is the place for you. A perfect family friendly venue that disregards plastic menus and sticky carpets; "a new way of eating" that will delight visitors, big and small.
