The Tall Ship At Riverside

by Jemma Fletcher (follow)
Explore this restored Victorian sailing ship with maritime-themed exhibitions and tours - suitable for the whole family!

The Tall Ship operates a programme of year-round maritime themed events and activities, with specially devised talks and tours, school visits and costumed volunteer days.

Of the many hundreds of ships built in Glasgow’s shipyards, the Glenlee is one of only five Clyde built ships still afloat in the world today and she is the only one of her kind in the UK.

The Tall Ship is an independent museum committed to the preservation and interpretation of the Glenlee and the maritime history of the area for the benefit of local people and visitors to Glasgow.

There's plenty to get invovled with here, including the mini cinema, an under 5’s play area in the cargo hold, or take part in our mouse hunt and put your questions to the working ship’s crew. They also have a souvenir gift shop and coffee shop on board.

When: Open from 10am-5pm (Last admission 4.30pm), 7 days a week!

Where: 150 Pointhouse Place
Glasgow

Price: FREE entry!

The Tall Ship hosts plenty of kid-friendly theme events throughout the year. Follow their Facebook page for updates.
