Where To Meet Santa in Glasgow 2018

Have your children been naughty or nice this year?

It's that special time of the year where Santa and his elves begin to make their way around various venues in and around Glasgow.

Glasgow Mums Group have found the best places for you to meet the jolly man in red for a hug and a photo.

1. M&D’s Scotland’s Theme Park: Santa's Magical Wonderland

Santa’s Magical Wonderland returns for another #funtastical festive season at M&D’s Scotland’s Theme Park! There will be Christmas storytelling, reindeers and Santa himself in Scotland's largest Grotto.

When: 16th November - 24th December 2018

Where: Strathclyde Country Park, Motherwell, Scotland ML1 3RT

2. Dobbies Garden Centre: Santa's Grotto

Bring your little ones along to explore the magical setting, be welcomed by Santa himself and receive a toy of your choice.

3. Gouldings Garden Centre: Winter Wonderland

Gouldings fabulous Winter Christmas Wonderland is the Clyde Valley’s most magical Christmas attraction. There’s loads for the kids to see and do, and they’ll meet Santa too!

When: 24th November - 24th December 2018

Where: Dalpatrick Farm, Rosebank, Clyde Valley, Lanarkshire, Scotland, ML8 5QA.

4. Meet Father Christmas At Hamleys

Take part in seasonal activities, spend time with Father Christmas and receive an extra special gift bag to take home.

Each little guest will hear magical stories of Christmas, write their own Christmas wish list and meet Father Christmas himself, all surrounded by the finest toys in the world.

When: 24th November - 24th December 2017

5. Santa's Woodland Experience

Be greeted and invited into the cabin by Santa himself, where he will be waiting to hear all about what you would like for Christmas.

After the visit with Santa, it is a wave goodbye and back to the tractor-trailer for a ride to the shed where you can enjoy a tea/coffee or some delicious hot food.

When: 30th November - 24th December 2017

6. A Victorian Christmas At Culzean Castle

As you tour the castle you’ll hear traditional stories, help the cook prepare a magnificent feast, hang stockings and take part in traditional parlour games with Lady Evelyn. As a special treat, make your way into the long drawing room where you’ll meet Father Christmas himself and receive a special gift.

7. Jingle Owl The Way At Robert Burns Birthplace Museum

Spend some time with one of Santa's elves writing your Christmas letter on a parchment using traditional quills and ink. One of the elves will then take you to meet Santa's feathery helper for you to give them your message to take back to his workshop.
